01

Scope and our role

This Privacy Policy explains how QuantumPagos (“QuantumPagos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through our website, merchant commerce platforms, portals, support channels, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Jewelry businesses that use QuantumPagos are referred to as “Merchants.” When we handle personal information solely for a Merchant, we generally act as that Merchant’s service provider or processor. The Merchant determines why and how that information is used, and its privacy notice also applies. Consumers should direct questions about a specific jewelry purchase, layaway plan, repair, or Merchant account to that Merchant first.

02

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information: name, business name, job title, email address, phone number, billing or shipping address, and account identifiers.
  • Merchant and account information: store details, authorized users, product catalogs, inventory, employee roles, implementation materials, and support communications.
  • Commerce and service information: orders, items, payments, refunds, layaway schedules and balances, repair details and statuses, customer communications, and fulfillment information.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, log data, and security events.
  • Information you provide: demo requests, emails, feedback, uploaded content, and other information you choose to submit.
03

Payment and financial information

Payment-card and banking information may be collected and processed directly by our payment-processing and financial-institution partners under their own terms and privacy notices. QuantumPagos may receive limited transaction information—such as payment status, amount, token, card brand, expiration date, and last four digits—needed to operate, reconcile, support, and secure the Services. We do not intend to store full card numbers or card security codes in QuantumPagos application systems.

04

Sources of information

We collect information directly from you; from Merchants and their authorized personnel; automatically when devices interact with the Services; and from service providers such as payment processors, hosting providers, security vendors, communications providers, and integration partners. Merchants are responsible for providing required notices and obtaining required permissions before submitting personal information to the Services.

05

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, configure, personalize, and support the Services;
  • process and reconcile transactions, layaway activity, repairs, orders, and related communications;
  • authenticate users, maintain accounts, prevent fraud, and protect the Services;
  • onboard inventory, troubleshoot issues, analyze performance, and improve features;
  • communicate about demos, support, service changes, security, and relevant offerings;
  • comply with law, financial-partner requirements, legal process, and contractual obligations; and
  • create aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
06

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Merchants: to operate the storefront, layaway, repair, inventory, customer-service, and reporting features they request.
  • Service providers: for hosting, security, support, communications, analytics, implementation, and other services performed for us.
  • Payment and financial partners: for processing, settlement, fraud prevention, underwriting, compliance, and dispute handling.
  • Authorities and other parties: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or establish or defend legal claims.
  • Transaction participants: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this Policy and provide legally required choices before the change applies.

07

Cookies, local storage, and tracking

Our website uses local browser storage to remember selections such as language preference. The Services and our infrastructure providers may also use cookies, logs, and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, functionality, diagnostics, and service performance. Because we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Where legally required, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals for any activity subject to such a signal.

08

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining transaction and audit records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting financial-partner requirements, and complying with law. Retention varies based on the information’s nature, sensitivity, business purpose, contractual requirements, and applicable limitation periods. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information where permitted by law.

09

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. Please do not send full payment-card numbers or other sensitive financial credentials by email.

10

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to opt out of certain processing; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; and to appeal a denied request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

Submit a request to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. If we process the information only for a Merchant, we may direct the request to that Merchant or assist the Merchant in responding.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send transactional, service, security, and legal notices.

11

California privacy notice

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about our collection and disclosure of personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to receive equal service and pricing when exercising those rights. These rights apply only when the relevant law covers QuantumPagos and the request.

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described above, including identifiers, customer-record information, commercial information, internet or electronic activity, approximate geolocation, professional information, and inferences generated for business analytics. We collect, use, retain, and disclose those categories for the purposes and to the recipients described in this Policy. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals.

QuantumPagos operates online and accepts privacy requests through [email protected]. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify a request. Our California practices may also be limited by legal limitations and service-provider or processor provisions.

12

Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate. Merchants are responsible for ensuring that any information they submit about minors is collected and used lawfully.

13

United States processing

QuantumPagos is based in the United States, and information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different privacy laws from your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

14

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the updated Policy, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice when required by law. Material changes will apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
